The Poems:-

Wonders

The silent chemistry of the earth whispers.

What’s in a raindrop?

And it’s vapour-less rise

Back to the sky.

The unexpected burst of waters

Diving - freely to the earth

Suspended, in the awe of our mind.

And above... the brewing clouds stir,

As the heavens- rumble echoes across the valleys of the sky.

Breaking away, like two friends pulled apart

The mourning clouds give way to golden sun.

We stop. We stare

We search.

For an answer

Grey Ocean

Grey Ocean of fears.

Faith flies over steep waves, grabs

Golden crests.

Before gushing hope... percolates

Back, through sea-bed holes.

Wings of the Wind...

Majestic in Holy splendor,

Grounded and poor.

An army of angels commanded,

Feet, that walked upon the floor.

A voice that shook the heavens, a gentle whisper

Of a prayer, to know the score.

And He was seen upon the wings of the wind,

And his footprints,

Were seen upon the sand, of the shore.

Olden pages

When I turn the olden pages, and catch,

A glimpse of the Eternal, Rock

Of Ages,

Something inside of me excitedly bows,

Wow, For what a wonderful God,

He is.

Anointing at Bethany

You came, and anointed my head with oil.

Preciously, preparing me

Before, my burial. Tenderly affirming my worth, carefully

Administering your love.

For the women who was, she still is now, for, here

Lies your memorial, in words.

Inspired by Matthew 26: 6-13

Don't Mourn

Don’t mourn for me, now that I’m gone.

I’ve been given an absolute measure, of life

To sing my song.

I’ve done all, that I came here to do,

I’ve made my mark, seen my dream come true...

Don’t mourn for me

Now that I’m gone,

Know that I’m in heaven, my spirit

Lives on.

In all things,

Rest assured, be at peace

And celebrate.

Sleeping Power   (Haiku)

I awake, sin sleeps.

It’s tar grip slips, from me. I

Smile. It’s a new, day.

Joy

…And I reply, I can sky-dance, dream-dive and, joy-see

Because I’ve been washed by the blood, and I’ve been, set free.

Your Faith Poems

Now, here are some of your faith- inspired poems... keep them rolling in!

This one is by Sean Benjamin from Leicester, England.

The Word

In the middle of the sea, the storm beat vehemently,

Unabated, unquenching

Waves erupting like flames of the Son.

I thought how do I escape, if only with my life, such torrent

Of demon elements possessing my very existence.

Then as if from nowhere the light of dawn.

The Word of Truth shone brightly.

Blazing in all its intensity.

As if to illuminate the true extent of this battered hull and frame.

Every thought, every action, every possible domain, was uncovered

Down even to the hole. All was revealed.

There I stood………stood I there naked and bare.

Shipwrecked and completely ashamed.

Exposed for all not there to see.

Then this Truth, Your Word, took on new form.

Completely metamorphisizing right before my veiled eyes.

The Light of your Glory with its blinding rays

Captured my heart and totally amazed.

One so lost and torn and at sea.

Was now on the shore and totally free.

This next poem is from a young lady in Milton Keynes, paying homage to all women of real worth...

Virtuous Woman

Unwrapping the virtuous woman

An ideal woman

A deliciously rich creation with depth and character

She’s the most beautiful present ever given to mankind

She’s a sister, a companion, a mother, a wife

She’s a giver, a protector, and bearer of life

She’s moral and upright

Honourable in all her ways

Her love and her passion is forever pure

She smiles when life seems hard to endure

Holds on to faith with endless pleasure

And whispers words in Godly measure

Her wisdom, her patience, her strength

Her mind, her soul, her heart

She’s moral and upright

Honourable in all her ways

She attracts people wherever she stands

Her touch ignites warm and tender sparks

She shines in places painted dark

Bringing joy to worlds torn apart

She’s lovely, she’s graceful, she’s right

She’s fearless, so bold and bright

She’s moral and upright

Honourable in all her ways

God knows her by her name

She lives for the purpose she was made

She is real a treasure in his hands

The very apple of his eye

I looked and listened for her heart

And heaven clearly said

She’s moral and upright

Honourable in all her ways
